BAHAWALPUR: Election for the slot of Bahawalpur High Court Bar Association’s (BHCBA) president ended in a tie.
The contestants were former president Nawazish Pirzada and Noor Hassan. The final counting showed that both contestants secured 1,016 votes.
Meanwhile, Rashid Javed bagged 1,253 votes to become the bar association’s general secretary. His opponent Sheikh Farhan secured 796 votes.
