ISLAMABAD: The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has recommended to the government to increase petrol price by Rs5.40 per litre, kerosene oil by Rs12 per litre and diesel by Rs6.20 for the month of July 2018.
The Ministry of Energy’s Petroleum Division has received a summary from the regulatory authority about the revision in petroleum products prices. If the government approves the change in prices then the petrol prices would be altered from Rs91.96 per litre to Rs97.36 per litre.
With an increase in the diesel price Rs6.20/ litre, the prices for High Speed Diesel (HSD) would increase to Rs111.51/ litre. While kerosene would rise from existing Rs84.34/ litre to Rs96.34/ litre.
However, on June 11, the government had increased petrol prices by Rs.4.60 /litre, kerosene by Rs4.46/ litre and diesel by Rs6.55 till midnight of June 30, 2018.
